the old beater:
1990 Chevy Camaro RS, 3.1MPFI/ 700R4 auto. 3.23 open diff. averaged 36mpg on the highway at 75mph.
the new beater:
2004 Silverado 2500HD, CCSB, LB7 Duramax/Allison 1000 5 speed auto, 72k miles
and the toy:
1993 Z28, only power windows and locks away from being a stripper car. 3.55:1 posi rear. 189902 miles and not burning or losing any fluids. she still runs STRONG. i bought her for $800

heres my dd its a 1994 full size blazer with the solid front axle swap. its on 37/13.50/22 nitto dune grapplers the engine has some things done to it here and there but i dont want to invest in it too much so i can save for a 5.9 swap from a mid 90s dodge complete with trans and the danas.
for being what it is i get about 10mpg on the city and 14-17 on the highway i am super impressed.
