Good insight. I hope to get hptuners for my ride at some point. But at the moment, it is more cost efficient to have it tuned for my build configuration. I have a good knowledge of EFI principals (went to school for it, and have done a good bit of troubleshooting) and mechanics, so once I learn the software I don't think i'd have too much trouble. Although, tuning and viewing/troubleshooting EFI data are 2 different mindsets- so there will definately be a learning curve of some sort.
Good luck to you on procuring some leads for tuning other cars.

Discovered that B02SS is the "mystery man" behind that sweet SS. I told him that it is definately one of the best sounding cams i've hard for a daily driver. No "hunting" or surging idle characteristics (partially accredited to the tune)and just enough lope to let innocent bystanders know it packs a punch. Kudos to Geoff @ EPS for a great product, can't wait to get mine up and running!

Yup I did a 5 angle valve job to them and had them milled .020" to bring the compression to 11:1 (62 cc chamber). Great budget setup, just ported a fast 78mm intake to 85mm and I will be adding an underdrive pulley. Hoping for 430 rwhp / 400 tq out of my little non ported budget build!

EPS cam 234/246 .602/.606 114+3
Really close to XE-R specs with subtle differences, lift is less too.
.006 - .050 = 49*
.050 - .200 = 80*
Amazing what you can find when you properly use the search button!

Who tuned it for you? I'm in SE Michigan. Won't be ready for a while, but I'm just wondering who did your tune.

Put 3.750" PR's in at first (set @ .088" preload) with the LS7 lifters and wasn't happy with the harmonics.... just recently put in a set of Manley 4.00" PR's (.113" preload) and it's quieted down a bit, but still not to stock levels, but not very noticeable.

Tuned by Geoff at EPS via mail order. I wanted good driveability first and foremost since this is my DD. I know there's still some power left on the table just by nature of the mail order method, but she drives smooth without any issues. I'd rather be slightly down on power and not have to deal with bucking/surging/stalling. Who better to tune the car than Geoff @EPS who designed the lobes and spec'd it as well as experience tuning that cam in person on a dyno. Geoff is a top notch guy and runs a top notch performance shop. Once I get some more mods i'll get a dyno tune.

I've got the 113+2 LSA.
