It may sound short, but keep in mind, taller valve stems, milled heads, and taller lifter cup height all equates to a shorter pushrod than a non Z06 valve, head/stock lifter setup. Trust me, I checked it with a PR checker and dial indicator.

I think he's saying you might have your numbers off in your post. Usually pushrods are around 7.350" to 7.425" long. The numbers you put up are 3" or so short.

Maybe you meant 7.375 and 7.400 in your other post?

You're only gonna get away with that mistake because your car sounds so friggin' awesome!! LOL.

No biggie.

Either way, I'm pretty much sold on this kind of cam. I've chatted with Geoff and also with PatrickG...they really know their stuff with these setups.

I landed a brand new set of bare 799 castings (only had the valve seals in them), and I'd love to get my 799 heads worked by TEA. Problem is that I would be at my budget limit on the head work alone, and then there would also be the fuel system issue to add $$$ on top of it. So I guess I'm just gonna stick with leaving the 799 castings (same as 243) stock for now, so I'm glad I found your build on here!!

My cam is awesome, no regrets here. I'd just like to get some bigger injectors and throttle body along with a live tune to reach it's full potential.

Can't go wrong with anything EPS!

I love it! Nice sunny day, little birdies chirping in the trees, then you show up with the keys and fire it up and all hell breaks loose! LOL, the birds starting chirping louder and faster and then you rev it and its bye bye birdies!
