I had put this in the camaro section but ill type it again...

I had made a u-turn because of construction and about 1/4 mile down or so heading south I saw a GMC SUV making a u-turn like me but I was doing 45-50 mph and the suv was like 5 cars ahead of me as it pulled out... the roads there are one lane on each side... so I moved over to the side in the dirt and missed her truck by like literally an inch (its what the witness said) I cut the wheel to get back on the road and I lost control and did a 180 and hit a ford f-150 and I was then facing north

just got a call back from the shop and they said the estimate is around 3300 bucks... does that seem right for a fender, bumper, tie rod, paint and labor? or is that steep... I believe they will total it if that is the case, the car is worth like 4700 in perfect condition

nobody is buying anything... I might just do that though part it out and collect the insurance money for the total loss and then use my money and buy an ls1 camaro

A tie rod shouldn't cost that much. I had all 4 inner and outer tie rod ends as well as an alignment done for $300 last summer. that's parts, labor and the alignment (although i did have a 10% off coupon so it was really $330)

a new bumper is ~ $500. I had my bumper replaced with a new GM for $970 after a farmer dropped a bale of hay on the road in 2007. that was for the bumper, the $50 firebird badge, paint and install. my damage was pretty similar to yours except for your fender being damaged. I'd think they could fix your car for $2k.

Well, glad your ok, but wouldn't it have been better to just apply the brakes, instead of trying to pass on the dirt shoulder? Not trying to be an ******* or anything.
