The fastest, and most consistent LSX car out there was a 427 drop top C5, running in the 10.5s.
The strictly race car Fbodys were getting drug by street cars on 19" wheels, street tires, and driven to the track. Watch the vid of the ARD Formy running I believe a 10.7 in the 120s/130s.

And watch as it gets ROLLED by a tiptronic 996tt with a turbo upgrade and some bolt ons.
One gets trailered there, one drives home with the A/C on. And I don't want to hear a price argument, as there is quite a bit of $$ invested the fbody, and 996tts are running in the high 30s/low 40s these days.
THATS impressive. If a 7.59 pass at 189MPH doesn't excite you, I don't know what possibly could?

Bad *** TA (Rob), nice meeting you too, thanks for stopping by New Hampshire is quite a ways from Texas. DIcN (Jimmy), thanks. BOM and IBM are my two favorite GTO offerings and I'm lucky to have owned both.
