Default UR Twin Turbo Lamborghini Gallardo - Standing Mile

Sorry if this is a repost... I looked but only found other videos of the same car, not this particular one. Anyway...

This is an Underground Racing-built Lamborghini Gallardo Twin Turbo running 240+ mph in the standing mile. Really well put-together video!

A Forde GT went 252 at the mile yesterday, missing a gear too. I guess that team wants to hit 300 in the mile.

I just got back from the Texas Mile. The orange Gallardo went 250.1 in the mile. Fastest supra went 247.7 and fastest GT went 249.6.

October is going to be fun.

So was the fastest GT 249.6 or 252?

They did that a couple weeks ago in Florida and they just want to hit 300, not in a set distance. I don't think those guys were even at Texas Mile.

Then I mis-read a post on a different forum that had people posting minute by minute updates.

The current record for the mile was set a couple weeks ago in FL. 252.9x by a Ford GT. That car did NOT participate in the TX mile.

A different Ford GT from Heffner's went 249.xx at the TX mile this past weekend.

The orange Gallardo that went 250.x at the TX mile was not the same Gallardo posted above (kyle's) that went 241.x awhile back in this video. The car that went 250.x is an Orange Gallardo Superleggera model with the big dark stripe across the side. But both orange Lambos are tuned by Underground.

A lot of duplicate cars doing the same stuff, makes things confusing.

I mis read the post. Someone was asking if this was the current mile record. I read someone responding to that post saying 250 is not since the GT ran 252.97 a few weeks ago in Miami.

The quickest 4 banger is quicker than the fastest LSX at that event I believe. LOL.
