I do believe the specs/improvements for the '11 Camaros have been released, and there are no gearing or power improvements. So the '11 GT still beats the '11 SS. Maybe they will test a 3.55-geared Mustang against a '11 SS. We'll see what happens then. Till them, stop whining.

just to clear up the BS my stock SS comes with 3.45s and the first 5.0 with the standard 3.31s that wants it lightweight *** kicked in can come look me up. It is a good thing that ford offers a 3.73, but to claim it gets 26 mpg with them is BS. We all know that 26 mpg figure is with the standard 3.31s.........and u can bet ur *** you can add a good 5 tenths to that 1/4 mile time considering it has no low end torque. why else do you think they use the deepest gear of the 3 they offer to take on chevy and dodge.
and dodge? 3.90s and still that slow? Wow! not to mention the 46 grand price ticket.

$46k is fully loaded. And if you think there's gonna be a half-second difference between a 3.73-geared car and a 3.31-geared car, I'd take that bet. I always wouldn't say it has "no low end torque." It might be a little less than an LS3, but it's not exactly "low."

im just sayin that with the 3.31 that are standard that car isnt going to roll out NEARLY as good as the 3.73s. and as rev happy as the 5.0 is it is going to hurt it more than a guy thinks, because obviously the camaro really makes up ground on it in the last half of the track.

and as for the fully loaded camaro minus the ugly ground effects its 38,500. the reason in know that is because mine is fully loaded.
Just sayin it shouldn't even be in the comparison

Why are you guys still crying?! It's just stock for stock, lmfao. We all know that the ls3 will respond a lot better to bolt ons than it's Ford counterpart. That's not even a debate, BUT stock for stock, the Mustang GT beats the SS. Cool?
