2011 GT in the 10's N/A

The car obviously has some significant weight reduction. I mean just a week or two ago they were spraying the car to hit 10's on the stock motor and tranny with nearly full trim weight, so obviously something else of significance has been done. Just common sense really.
As far as everyone with the "so what?" attitude, you're looking at things from the wrong perspective here. The point is just how far the modular motor has come in such short order. If someone had told you a year or two ago that a stock motor, stock tranny GT was gonna run 10's you'd have had a big ole laugh at their expense. I mean, jeez....we now have a V6 model that flat out outruns a 7 year old 2V 4.6 GT.
Moral of the story (that alot of ppl seem to be trying to push here): don't sleep on a newer Mustang because you believe it's slow. They seem to be every bit capable of matching the 5th gen Camaro both stock and modded.

I just had to post here, because i too think seeing all the 2011 mustang threads on this website is downright silly. Maybe I'm getting to old but this site is not what it used to be. I've never seen an automatic shift like that lol. I am curious about the weight of this thing, they picked up 7-8mph from their full weight bolt on runs and they are just shy of what they trapped with a 150 shot.
What does that have anything to do with it. Just because all of us aren't fortunate enough like you to have a Viper? What a moronic statement... It's a 10sec Mustang, not a 266mph Ford GT. IT IS NOT HARD TO GO 10'S. It just takes money. Go post Mustang **** on a Ford site not a GM one. I'd say all these people who keep posting Mustang videos on "LS1tech.com" are the ignorant ones when they get mad at the comments they recieve...
