Why is everyone ranting about the new mustang? It hasnt even been tested against time yet. Plus the majority of LS1 cars have HCI, boost, or spray so the chances are youll still be faster.

Thank you sir...lol Not on stock tire and not a dr either. A road race tire that still don't 60' for **** (1.9). The crazy part is...is that I was running out of gear. It was laying on the limiter 50' maybe a little more before the traps. I have since bought some 3.90's for it....maybe it'll go 124 now hopefully. The car is not full weight but still has all the sound deading and all the creature comforts...it's a true daily driver.

Goood ol KCIR.....I ran my best times at that track when I lived there. But lets be realistic, Ive seen countless number of stock LS1's run mid to high 14's at KCIR so that dosent really mean much for a 11 GT to run a 14.

Well I must say I am a Ford Technician and A firend and I took out a 2011 mustang gt tonight to a car show. It had 50 miles on it and was a c/s edition 6sp auto trans. I will say That I have owned lots of fast cars and these are not to bad. I say the auto will do a mid 13 stock easy and the 6 spd manual with the optional 3.73 should do low 13's to high 12's. They pull a little better then a stock ls1 f-body. I am guessing he couldn't drive. Plus you have to run 91 octane to get the good timing tables in these things. just my .02. Later
