From what I'm seeing, with very little effort the new 5.0 can easily stomp the much higher priced 2010 GT 500. Hmm... I bet that's ticking off a lot more Shelby owners than SS owners.

Id be interested to see how a lightly modded Gt does against a lightly modded GT500 on the highway.

Awsome to see you slimmin down those times so quickly! I remember talking to you at milan on the 24th. I was with my buddy and his dad in the 2011 blue 5.0 with the clutch pedal sticking. (fords ) lol

Keep up the sweet work man! You guys ever get that tranny tune figured out btw?

Yeah, I'm impressed with how quick it is with the small amount of mods.

The trans cal I had the day we got the car when I was talking to you was too aggressive and spinning the tires causing it to shift into the next gear then downshift. We fixed it the next day when I got to work.

How's the clutch after that night?

It's been fine for street use but I think my buddy's dad might go with the shelby pedal assembly which is suppose to solve the problem. We'll have to see. Hopefully next time we're out we'll bump into you again.

These cars are pulling off some very impressive times, I think I'm more impressed with how the auto performs.
