Default Livernois Motorsports 2011 Mustang GT Dyno/Track Baseline Data

2011 Mustang GT Auto
3.15 Gear
87 Octane

Picked up from the dealer 3:00pm Thursday, June 24, 2010

Baselined on the dyno 4:15 pm 349 RWHP /338 RWTQ

Tuned with 87 octane 362 RWHP / 351 RWTQ

Headed to Milan Dragway at 5:00pm

Arrived at Milan at 6:05pm, 85 miles on odometer.

In 3 hours, I made 22 passes (I had to burn that 87 out)

First pass was at 6:22pm
Spun bad, 13.8 @ 107 mph
Second pass Spun bad, 13.9 @ 107 mph

Checked air pressure…. 51 lbs :uh oh:

Let tire pressure down to 30 lbs.

Next 10 passes experimenting with launch ranged from 13.1 – 13.3 @ 107-108 mph

The car liked leaving best from 1,000 rpms. Best 60’ 2.0X

Next 10 passes had Livernois Motorsports 87 octane tune and it could have been a bracket car.

9 passes, it went 12.8X @ 111 mph with 2.0X 60’

The last pass it went 12.78 @ 111 mph with a 1.9X 60’

I was car# 25

Stock

Stock with Livernois 87 Octane Tune

Track Conditions

DA 2164
Temp 80 Degrees
Humidity 50%
Barometric Pressure 29.96 inches Hg

Corrected ET/MPH Stock – 12.67 @ 110 mph
Corrected ET/MPH Tuned – 12.38 @ 113 mph

Time to start modding!

Damn, that's a good time for a stock Auto with less than 100 miles on the clock.
The tune sure as hell woke it up quiet a bit too and it was still an 87 octane tune.
Looking forward to a 93 octane, stall, Intake, and LT run.

Now THAT'S how you break in a car!

So...what are the plans for this one Rick? You guys have already done a
centrifugal and a positive displacement blower on a S197. N/A perhaps???
A 76mm turbo would fit nicely in the engine bay too.

You mean bad driver's don't you? lol there are timeslips on mustang forums of average joes. 12.7 to 13.5 are you saying you have to be a bad driver to REALLY test these cars?

because anyone can pull a 14 in each car.

Today, we made a few modifications to our car and again I headed directly to Milan Dragway.

Quick data - 2011 Mustang GT auto, 3.15 gear, stock airbox/filter, and the mods below. The car really needs a shorter tire or a gear.

Filled with 93 Octane, but did not update the tune as our tuner was out of the office today.

Installed the following modifications:

Stainless Works 1 7/8" Longtube Headers
Stainless Works Catted Mid-Pipe
Stainless Works 3" Catback
Cobra Jet 15 x 4 Front Wheels
Goodyear 15” Front Runners
Cobra Jet 15 x 10 Rear Wheels
BFG 325/50/15 Drag Radials (5 years old, did not hook well)

Headed to Milan Dragway at 4:00pm

Arrived at Milan at 5:15pm, 285 miles on odometer. In 4 hours, 10 quarter mile passes were made

Several 12.2X, 12.1X passes were made. The best pass of the night was 12.07 @ 116.25 mph

Car # 258

Wow... great results. Gonna love to see what it does with a gear, better tires, and an updated tune
