Default 2001 WS6 vs 2011 GT 5.0

Watch in HD,

1st Race: Dig, 5.0 Jumps, and is out of site lol
2nd Race: Dig, Even start, 5.0 pulls 1.5-2 cars?
3rd Race: WS6 no passenger, roll, 10-120, WS6 by half a car?
4th Race: WS6 no passenger, roll, 15-120, WS6 by a car?

in the last two races we had already started before the video came on, I stopped every time at 120, he wanted to keep going around the turn but that turn was scary and I didnt want to push it for a few extra feet

Damn, 5000 miles on that 5.0 already?! The paint is all swirled up on it too!

That 5.0 is really impressive. What kinda tires/rims were on you though? Looks like some 19's or 20's on your ride.

I was trying to find out some more about your car by clicking on your profile. I came across a thread you posted last week about the SES code you are throwing and the problems with the car cutting out at WOT. Did you get these problems fixed or was it still running bad during the race? Since you said like there's power being held back, it sounds like a clogged catayltic converter.

Yea they are 19'' wheels so not good for dig runs at all but as far as the SES problem I disconnected the battery and it stopped doing it? I dont get how that could have fixed it but It wasnt holding back at all today.

I think that's a temporary fix. It will probably come on again soon. It's either a misfunctioning cat or a failing oxygen sensor.

Nice runs though!

Nice runs the exhaust mod on the ws6 makes everything fair IMO! because the stock 5.0 has a good flowing exhaust!

It doesn't matter if the stock exhaust flows well... it's still stock. And the WS6 exhaust is still aftermarket.

Interesting, so you were able to have a slight but steady pull when there was no passengers from a roll?

Well the Ws6 had some heavy a$$ 19" chrome rims that take away RWHP. So the lil power he got from a lid and cut-out, he lost in heavy a$$ rims.

Got to look at all the factors

Irunelevens, don't nit-pick every post like you do in every 5.0 thread. It gets really old.

This goes for Ke^in too which hasn't posted in awhile, (thank God). I'm guessing he got one of those "vacations" that the mods give out?
