Default Could i get a ticket for this???

Well yesterday after noon im out just driving around minding my own business, well while driving my radar detector goes off an detects a police car coming the opposite way and so when i pass the cop car i guess the officer detected my radar detector so he decide it to turn around and pull me over (no i was not speeding or doing anything wrong). Well once im pulled over he gets off and tells me that hes stopping me because my smoked taillights, but after he told me that he start it to check my car also told me that i didnt have a reflector on my signal lights on the front (what the warning says-->wrong color reflector-side front none) then he also said something about my side marker lamb being smoked too and as well for my limo tint and eyebrow being too low. Well after everything was said and done all he gave were warnings . i know that i can get a ticket for the window tint, but how about the other stuff?? can anyone educate me lol... heres a pic of the signal lights and taillights.

Well yeah I guess every state is diff. And cops in diff towns are too cuz I just moved to a diff town and on the first week of being here Is when i got stop. In the other I lived in cops would be behind me and wouldn't even bother me at all even with having LTs no cats and straight pipes. Or it could be thatonly to long ago I was racing a c5z06 and right after we got done a trooper was coming the opposite way an he saw that the vette and I were side by side

More than likely.....none of the lights are illegal.....provided they are all the proper colors when they are lit. All brake lights need to be red when lit, turn signals need to be amber, and back up lights should be white. That is the law in Florida. You can get a ticket for the eyebrow...if it is to dark or to big.

I got pulled over for having those rear tail light covers.
A CHP officer told me you can have them, but they should be able to still reflect some red off from them.

He's in Texas, and the taillights are illegal, but I need to look it up cuz I've never actually read it for myself. I've heard from a friend who sold truck accessories that the reflectors had to be the right color but I've never heard of someone getting stopped for it. Mostly that was just an excuse to pull you over.

In Texas, you can only have amber in the front of the car for a turn signal. The rear lights can be no other color than Red point blank, except rear turn signals. The license plate light has to be white.

Your lights are illegal. You have to have some type of red reflectors showing. That's why those Infinity SUVs, and other cars with clear taillights can use them straight from the factory. If you turn the lt1 T/A taillights clear, they will still be legal because there is a red reflective area that you can not remove on the bottom.

As for the front, I would assume it would have to be orange.

Granted the lights have to be color specific: brake=red, backup=white, ect. and placement counts. From the side, you can not have a red light towards the front.

Legal civilian colors:
Rear: Red, orange, white.
Side: Red, orange
Front: Orange, white

Tails can be tinted. They just have to be visible at 100ft. Thats not very far so you should be good. I checked up on this before tinting my tails

well my front signals are amber color well a lil, i guess i should by the amber color light bulb. but what he was saying wasnt about the color, he was talking about the reflector on it. at first he did say something about the signal light not being amber but after he came back with the warnings thats when he switched it up to not having a reflector on the signal light.

They still glow red when you hit the brake.
