It shifts ONLY when I move the lever in manual mode, and WILL NOT shift on it's own in manual mode UNLESS I move the lever. How many times do I have to say that? You guys don't get it do you?

I like your style. Guys like RedHotG6 are so fun to annoy, I can actually visualize his blood pressure going through the roof every time I post a rebuttal to one of his comments.

I don't have high blood pressure and you don't bother me one bit. And since you're intentionally being stupid I won't waste my time in this worthless thread any more.

So... you just agreed with me. You don't shift it yourself, you tell the computer when to shift it. Which is fine, but don't kid yourself. I'd put money on your car (especially with your tune) being faster in auto mode than manual mode.

And in any real world...

Manual > trip tronic or other automated(read the word AUTO in there) manual > planetary geared automatic.

So get over it!

Automatic CTS-V is faster than a manual.

Is speed everything? Who was shifting hte manual? were they driving it like they stole it? Or slow shifting it like a grandma.

The point being is YES with a automatic you get the same shifts each time. They are very perdictable and remove human error and reaction times from the equation. But if thats what you want, why drive at all? Just get a car that does all of it for you and is always fast.

Manual > automatic manual > pure automatic. PERIOD

Well, in independent tests by C&D and MT, the automatic was quicker from a standstill and around a road course.

Some modern automatics are quicker than H-pattern manuals. Just about every automated manual is quicker than its H-pattern manual as well.

Watching you argue is like watching a retard cart wheel naked through his sandbox, while shitting.

By all means, continue.
