1st of all, yes it is a beautiful car..... with that being said
camaro ss = $30k
mustang gt = $30k
srt-8 = $45k+
an srt-8 cost 50% more......
you could have a new pro-charged ss or gt and still have several thousand in your pocket with what just a stock srt-8 would cost
its a beauty of a car and screams american muscle but it also screams too many american dollars that could be put to better use in just as good cars if not better.....

Yup, the GT500 traps pretty close to 120. The older GT500's would be a close match but not the '11. How cold was it the night they ran this car?
It only does 23mpg in 4-banger mode? That's nothing to brag about. Dodge will finally be able to keep up in a straight line with the GT/SS now, to bad it's going to get it's *** kicked in the corners still.

the current 6.1 is a drivers race with the new 10'ss
the 6.4 will be overall faster, im sure we will see higher traps stock once the general public gets their hands on them.
This run was the very first run, I cant wait to see the times others will get.

The current 6.1 traps 4-8mph slower than the SS and GT, this one is running about what they do with a -700 DA! I doubt you will see traps/times much higher/quicker than this, the GT and SS were doing this on 100deg days.
As for a 12.4 at 110, I'm guessing this guy ran one of the quicker times we will see out of them.

Yeah I heard it was a 1.85 60ft. Not bad for street tires..

Maybe stock. But they are making 470rwhp/530rwtq with just software. The S63 is a nasty motor.
I really want to see what they do styling wise on the final SRT8 Jeep. Hard to beat how bad *** the old body looked. I swapped my coworker a bunch of times for his, loved it!

was in a srt8 all week on hot rod power tour this year,excellent ride/comfort,i wasn't exhausted at all being in the car so much,i love their interior. seats are awesome and cumfy as can be! heavy car,but being a chevy girl,i think the challenger does have it's fine points compared to the camaro.it did however die a couple times,wierd mopar thing i guess.brand new car with little mods...
