Default Sold the T/A...new LSx vehicle

2008 Trailblazer SS
20K miles
AWD
LS2

Already changing some small stuff.
Front bowtie is an eyesore in gold (at least to me) so I have a black one on order.
Doing something with the exhaust, just kinda undecided. Magnaflow is all I know.
Tint.
Removed the little GM badges and the bowtie on the rear hatch.
I cannot wait to detail this as the paint looks awesome where I had the portercable on it cleaning up the sticky tape crap.

Not sure on plans. Probably headers, exhaust, intake, and tune. Not much past that. Stall down the road of course. Maybe a 1/3 or 2/4 drop.

Day after I brought it home....haven't had a chance to clean it yet.

Snowed today. Cruises right along...and plenty fun when I want it to be.

It cleared some debt.
It wouldn't pass emissions, so it had sat for 6 months with expired tags.
My daughter's physical therapy stuff didn't fit in it.
It was just time to move on. Loved that car but I had lost interest for whatever reason.

I do suspect I will end up in another GM sports car once school is done.

Its all very understandable. I used to have those moments of lost interest before I had a daily but it never crossed my mind to sell it. Everyone goes through it though.

slap a TVS2300 on it and call it a day... 11.80's all day long on pump gas no meth= no hassle. best of luck with it. My friend just picked up a white AWD the other day. we did C6 electric fan, billet servos, trans cooler, CAI/Tune. Even that knocked a good .5 or more off it. He's doing a TVS 1900 in the spring, goal is 100% reliable not losing any drivability and tow his Harley all over lol..

I was under the impression the stock trans wont take too much more then stock power, will it hold up to a blower?

Time will tell if I go with a blower.

Ideally this stays close to stock and I get into a Vette or another 'Bird.

Well....I hope I can do that.
But AWD burnouts are hard to come by with a 4L70E.

Yeah, these pictures are just quick ones I snapped. Truck isn't even clean.

Expect more of the same with this.

Why keep this stock then get another car to make fast? These are so quick stock and are crazy fast with minimal mods. Everyone has there own cup of tea but I see it as you have the best overall vehical possible. Easily fast and still hauls all the stuff you need it to.

Very cool either way.

Nice ride, looks like we have them same taste in vehicles lol. Magnaflow is pretty quiet. I'm running SW LTs with a cated y-pipe and a Magnaflow catback on my TBSS right now. It's got a really nice deep tone but it's a little on the quiet side. I'm gonna have a buddy make me some cat delete pipes and see how it sounds. This is how it sounds right now.

I love that.
I ordered the Magnaflow muffler (will delete resonator) for now.

Honestly, time will tell. I don't think I want to mod anything crazy again. No return.

Sounds a lot like what I am thinking now. Just a couple weeks ago, I was deadset on a turbo setup, but that's a lot of money for not a lot of hp (SBE so <600rwhp). I need to start saving for a house blah blah blah. Just kind of want a toy to play with but not go crazy I don't know, maybe it's the snow playing with my mind.

Mine is also AWD and I get a solid 13mpg in town and around 20mph on the highway. I can probably squeeze a few more mpgs out of it if I work on the tune some more.
