Definitely didn't expect that. I was thinking high 10 with the mods he said. Maybe faster. Funny seeing it take off.

He was a lair but he played it off smooth groove! I still didn't expect it to be that fast no matter what. Must have been a very liberal track no cage and donut rims? Wow!

Looked like black Draglites and I'm sure it was caged to go that straight.

I knew as soon as I saw the bay shot. All that gas and that many regulators... It's a Proline built 4xxci SBF on two systems. He was hitting it with 475 total on that pass.

Haha yea he played them like a fiddle... The guys name is Eric I believe and here is all the TRUE details on the engine, he just was trying to have some fun with them

It has a 425" stock ('79) block windsor (yes, I'm leaning on it!) built by Proline, 12:1 compression, high-ports, running on E100. I have an 82N pill in a big shot plate, 28N pill in the fogger. I grabbed the second system as soon as I let go of the 'brake and tried to drag the bumper, but it didn't hook quite hard enough on the 16's.
He also said this about the nitrous that night

Two plates and a fogger. I have yet to spray all 3 at one time...afraid of what it will do to the stock 79 windsor block! On the show, I sprayed a total of 475 between 1 plate and the fogger.

The burnout definitively showed what that thing is about. I wonder how many LS1 snobs he has creamed with that! LOL!

Didn't expect that. Burnout sounded damn good but still didn't expect 8's.

And our track doesn't care about cages. But they will give you hell if you don't have a blow down tube or a broken stud.

Like someone said it is a sleeper till you see it run, then it just looks like a pile. Sure he has won some money with it for sure!!!!
