Anyone have a video of a stock ls1 auto vs stock(ish) 4.6 mustang?? I know this is a stupid *** request, and i apoligize for making this thread in advance feel free to flame me all you want, but can someone attach me some videos of:
basically stock or very lightly modified, no LT headers (AUTOMATIC ONLY, preferably 2.73 geared) LS1 fbody racing a new edge or 05+ gt racing ??? i just wanna how slowest stock ls1 compares to pre new 5.0 mustangs!! Thanx!! Disclaimer im not trying to start any mustang vs fbody wars. If you want to do that, plz
I just wanna see real life results... not just "oh, i raced this guy and smoked him by 5 busses" type stories. I wanna see vids. Thanx again

Here's a couple...
All these races were when i had 2.73 gears. The race with the orange mustang is about as even as it gets when trying to compare the two, both being 01's. Both on street tires and we both had cat back exhausts.

no its just that i got me a 98 t/a rescently for a DD and was looking into a stock gt mustang as well... Just wanted to see what they got from the factory against an fbody

Well they don't set the world on fire but with a tune my 07 went 13.1@ 106 in cold weather, and 13.3 at 105 in hot weather. and that was an a-5 with 331 gears. With 4.10 gears easily 12.90's but they seem to level out on motor depending on mods at low to high 12's stock mine went 13.70's lol! Well it was actually the wife's.
