12.6 in a ZO6 with a small cam! HAHA SW's vette would have killed that viper if there weren't clutch problems! That viper owner needs to be taught a lesson!

Really we are going to do a test when one cars clutch is slipping? Totally unfair.

And this is coming from someone who likes Vipers more then Vettes.

115mph trap for a z06 with headers and a small cam? Something wasn't right.

Very clear that his clutch **** out or something else, that Z06 was raping him up until then. He had like 3-4 cars on him and pulling, and then the Viper guy acts like he's making an excuse. I can't believe the guy with the Viper is that much of an idiot. At the end he was talking about how good of a driver he was too, yet his better handling car with wider tires lost on the autox course.

Douchebag. Just your stereotypical viper owner.

Did you watch the video? He had 3-4 lengths on the Viper and was pulling until something clearly happened and the Viper walked him like he hit the brakes.

I was there and witnessed it

What the video doesn't show is that we ran the 1/4 mile 4 times and obviously SW hurt the car on that pass. He then limped the car through the next two events and did very well doing so being that the clutch was in bad shape. Just like the 1/4 mile, we made 5 laps on the autocross (best time taken) and did the Slalom twice.

I believe he hurt the car on the burnout and none of the times were good. I have seen my friend do the same thing on his vette with the clutch glazing over and then just not holding afterwards.

You can see that he launched alright and the car held but it began slipping up top. SW can drive the hell out of a car and he battled with a broken car; no shame in losing to a viper anyways.
