Exactly.. Did he NOT see the PO directing traffic?? Their eye witness statements DO hold up in court. Just because the cop is directing traffic, does not mean that he is NOT a law enforcement official. A shame, but if you drive like a fool these things happen.
This is one of the MANY reasons why I don't like screwing around. Call me a *****, or an old man for driving the way I do, but guess what...... I can still DRIVE my car. You wanna look cool in front of a group of car guys/gals; run a low 11 or 10 sec pass at the track.

it sounds stupid when someone fails after trying to show some skills. but what would happen if that guy didn't hit the tree ?
I mean , this could happen to everyone...even the Stig
