Default The Cam is IN!!!! 227/231 .614/.617 110LSA

Special thanks to Predator-Z for recommending this cam to me and all of the other members who've been helpful during this build......I think a custom grind is the way to go - so you end up getting exactly what you want.....The Pac 1518's and 7.4 TSP pushrods are sounding good and quiet, I was a little worried about having a sewing machine under the hood, but everything is good.....I only wish I would've went with a Melling oil pump instead of a regular LS6, cause the hot idle pressure is about 25-28psi, but I guess it's ok.....I suppose that's enough to keep the lifters pumped up at low RPM, right????......anyways, the tune is coming next week along with a set of 36lb injectors......Here's a short clip untuned
(my brother wrote "Pro Comp Cam" in the description)....lol

Sounds amazing! I've never been the "BIG CAM" type. For my new combo, I'll be running my previous 228/228 .588 .588 @ 115, you'll barely be able to hear it with the turbo

Good luck with the combo!

I know of two other tuner that are A+ if you are interested. One is a drive but well worth it.

I'm sure he will get you squared away though.

the only thing i'm not sure about is he says it will take 2 days to tune it......he wants me to leave my car down there and i didn't think it took that long.....i was going to flim the dyno and do a whole write up for him, but i won't be able to it if i leave the car.....where are the other tuners located......could they do it tomorrow?

One in huntsville, other is in Atlanta. Like I said its a drive for the atl one but would be worth it imo.

Two days is a while. That's not that massive cam so I wouldn't expect longer than 4-6 hours with street tuning.

The Atlanta tuner could possibly squeeze you in, huntsville probably not.

Sounds good! Dont know if you want to go that low if your already worried about oil pressure,. Im sure it will drop even more at that rpm. You could always run a little thicker oil to keep the pressure up a little more.
