Looks good!! You must have stayed with the ptm 95 tb since you didn't have to grind on the water pump. Only reason we had to grind on my water pump was the 102 tb. I'm in the same boat as I'm not sure if the 102 is better yet. Dyno number from my 92 to 102 said it was but that's just the dyno lol.

Took it for a ride yesterday, with no tune adjustment I can feel the pull is a little stronger over 5500.

COOL! It will be neat to see how much it picks up with the new headers. There's still a fair amount of us trying to squeeze as much as possible out of stock cubes

Another day, a little more accomplished. Pulled the old Hooker 1 7/8ths headers off. Slapped some paint on them and sold them locally.

The new TSP setup, 2" header with a 3.5" collector. That means I'm making a new Y pipe.

Ordered up some random pipe pieces and clamps.

In this picture you can see the Howe racing merge, 3.5 to 5 inch, and my old 4" bullet muffler I plan on reinstalling.

This merge obviously was too big so I ended up cutting it back about 3 inches so it would mate up with 4 inch pipe.

Here is the completed Y pipe and merge.

Had it coated with high temp powder.

The red valve covers had seen better days so I decided to change the color scheme up some on the top side.

Blasted them in the cabinet.

Same wheel graphite color that went on the intake.

Here are the packs and brackets. I touched up the red on the coils, blasted and painted the brackets graphite, and added stainless allen head bolts to hold the coils down. I also re-wrapped the tape around the harness.

And my final surprise, 10 gallons of MS109. Gonna see if it picks up anything after being retuned for this fuel. Results soon!.

Thanks, but by far I'm most impressed with the fuel. Got damn this thing pulls once I retuned it.

How much fuel did you have to add to the tune?

Most areas of the VE I added 2-6%. Some were a little less, some were more but that seemed to be the average. Imagine having a 30 shot of nitrous on all the time you go WOT, its like that. No way its not gonna get me a new PB et and mph.

Looks like your doing some work! All looks great! Eager to see your results since mine and your car run very similar times and mods. Should be running mine next Saturday .

The motor sounds different, the trans shifts different, there is no doubt this motor is making more power on this fuel. Once I have a time slip to back that up, I'm thinking I'm going to be an advocate of running this fuel, even in NA combos.

Interesting... I haven't got into the tuning side yet (need to) but adding VE is a sign the engine is making more power? When is the next trip to the track?

No, not exactly. This fuel likes a little richer mixture....So all else being the same you will generally add fuel due to its composition. VE is effected by lots of things, sometimes even adding mods that add hp you may leave the ve the same in some places.

Interesting.. So you can just load your old tune if you want to go back to 93 for street driving then switch back for running race fuel at the track?

Yes you could switch back and forth. Optimally youd want all of the old octane out of the tank and fill fresh whenever possible.

Hit up Test And Tune Friday night. The truck actually towed decently with the lowering kit (trailer properly loaded of course), and the new found power (headers, tune, awd delete) was really noticeable.

At the end of the day it cut a best (random passes) 60ft of 1.45, best 1/8 mile of 6.9x @ 97mph, and quarter 10.99 @ 121. The mph on the 1/4 tells me its not pulling like it should on the backend, it definitely needs more tuning, which I plan to do soon.

And at the end of the night I made it through a Whataburger drive through and only scuffed the curbed and grazed a bush.
