Default vid of quickest stock ls longblock?

i haven't kept up with the quickest stock longblock stuff, this might be it? we were hopeing for 8's but that might be too much to ask at this weight.

stock 6.0 longblock(lq4) other than a used ls6 cam and valve springs. pt88 turbo at almost 20psi, 11psi launch. 3400lb race weight, glide.

it did finish off the head gasket on the last run, it has been pushing water for a long time. sounds like the plan now is some ls9 head gaskets and head studs then turn it up till the next thing breaks. in my book this will take it out of the stock longblock list but what can you do.

mike the owner is not afraid of blowing it up so after the hg/studs we will be going back to the track and be turning it up till we hit another roadblock.

Pretty impressive, I don't think you can call it a stock longblock with the LS6 cam and springs in there though. I certainly stopped referring to my car as stock internal once I put the LS6 cam in.

yeah, everyone has a diferent definition of what a "stock long block" is. for me the cam doesnt knock you out but head studs will.

aftermarket head studs are going on next so in my book we can no longer say stock longblock.
