Pics of my 99 Medium Blue Metallic Trans Am
Just picked this up the other day. I've heard this color is pretty rare but I don't know the specifics. If anybody knows, feel free to chime in. Car is a 6 speed.

I had mine like that for a couple of years till I lowered it and put new wheels on it. I don't recall them making a 6spd for that year in blue. I may be wrong, Scott Settlemire signed and gave me props for mine and told me he wished Pontiac would have made more. I believe only 1500 (total) were made in med metallic blue and I think all autos. Check the numbers on the door to see which gearing it came with. Not 100% sure but Gu2 is 2.73 (Auto), Gu5 is 3.23 (auto), and Gu6 (6spd). that should tell you if the car was also an auto or 6spd right out of the factory. On mine I have Gu2 which had the 2.73 and changed them out. Also the 2.73's didnt come with an aluminum driveshaft, it came with a steel drive shaft.

After doing some research, it looks like only 561 firebirds and trans am's shared the medium blue color. I believe only about 200 or so trans ams's were in medium blue. I guess that makes my t/a super rare!
