I don't know... I think that's pretty boring, personally. Why not just retrofit an automatic with a shotgun type blast?
I'm sure this has been posted, but this is still my favorite: http://mediaserver.nauticom.net/www...ek-com/AUSA.wmv
The dang thing sounds like some sort of a star-wars weapon about halfway through the film. Pretty accurate too... heh.

its a solid state firing mechanism. i went to their website a while back and watched everything. The bullets are stacked >>>>>>>> in the barrel. the barrels are removeable(like a clip). there there is a firing media between the bullets which are ignited one at a time by computer. the back force of the first shot keeps the other rounds nicely packed in the barrel. the 1,000,000 shots a minute is acomplished by firing all bullets in the barrel at once or with a microsecond of spacing. if you were able to take a picture of it the bullets would look like > > > > > > > all flying at once.

Does anyone else think that that Ibis Tek upgun would not be good in an urban environment??? Looks like it would not be able to maneuver fast enough to engage multiple targets. Not to mention an IED or RPG would kick the crap out of it & its optics look rather exposed (of course they did not tell whether they were armored or not).
