That thing is insane, a fraction of a second and 180 shots were fired. If it can do that kind of damage to all of those planks of wood I can just picture what it could do to a group of men.
Only problem I see is slowing the rate of fire down so you can spray the shots out into a crowd.
Awesome stuff.

I just saw one of those on modern marvels last night.
Cool prototype. They stack up to 18 shots in one barrel with the rounds on top of each other and fire them with a computer.

yeah, actually.....they are stacked in the barrel and each round sets off the one behind it so they fire almost as a solid piece.
its pretty stupid actually.........it doesnt have a continuous source of reloading.

When they reload they actually change out barrels from the back that are preloaded. Each barrel has 18 rounds stacked like this >>>>>>.
Mind you I have no idea how they are igniting the cap, or even if they are standard rounds. But it's computer controlled and they are definately stacking the rounds. They showed this on Modern Marvels on the History Channel a few days back. They spoke of it for about 2 mins. They never showed how the primer was actuated, or how it did not damage other rounds in the barrel when they went off.
The gun they showed had more barrels and they emptied all of the rounds at a 30,000 per min rate instead of the short bursts in this vid and it sounded like a very fast printer. Kinda reminds you of the A-10's 30mm cannon's sound but a hell of a lot faster
