i dont know a ton about 180+ driving so maybe ill be off here, does it seem like its accelerateing really slowly getting to 180? I know its not flat but seems really slow. Arent they supposed to do well over 200? if so does that mean the last 30 mph takes 3 minutes?
Just wondering.

Those last 30 mph take an exponential amount of power to achieve as opposed to the previous 30 mph. Especially with all of the down force the car is achieving due to the front and rear splitter as well as other cosmetic pieces that keep it planted through turns.

180+ mph is nothing to **** around with. Lots of cars can do 150, not very many can do 180. There's a reason for that.

yep, force of drag is squared with velocity. takes a lot of horsepower to go that fast, plus the car is not set up for top speed, it's meant to be fast around a track.

The last half of that big straight where he gets to 180 is up hill.

They were using Michelin Sport Cups, which is an r-compound tire. After I added my supercharger I priced them....they are $600 EACH.
