It is just epoxy primer.

It looked amazing when first sprayed, but it's been about a year now and the black has faded to a gray color. It's not meant to be permanent.

I've heard people who want satin black for the same price but with some UV protection use John Deere Blitz Black tractor paint.

The wheels are a style made by several companies back in the day. My rears are Western Wheel brand and the fronts are ET brand.

They are often referred to as Ansen Sprints, slotted mags, aluminum slots, Halibrand slots, dished mags and several other names.

I've seen several that have no brand name listed just "Made in America" or "Made in Japan". I have some 15x8.5" I'm going to use for drag wheels that are made in Japan with no brand, they are thicker castings and are heavy in comparison to my others.

She's a 20 footer.

But I'm usually driving like I stole it so most people don't get to look very long anyway haha

This is right after the fresh rubber went on the rear.

In the very near future I will be replacing the grill emblem and side emblems with Trailblazer SS badges to add a touch of modern style to match the LS1 under the hood and they will be the same font as the Cobalt SS seats.

She's not perfect, but I have a lot of fun with her.

Very nice, but I guess I am just old school (or just old), I prefer stock exteriors and interiors ... i.e., sticking with period correct badges and interior. This and another '71 Chevelle thread post brings me back to my high school days ... '67 Camaro RS, 350 & Saginaw and '70 Chevelle SS 396 (402) & Muncie.

Wanted some subtle hints at the lsx under the hood so the car carries a little bit of theme instead of looking like a "day 2" car then popping the hood to find a late model fuel injected plant.

Updated pictures with the new emblems to come, I got them on.
