800whp+ in a 2800lb race weight vehicle to beat an R1???? U have GOT to be kidding me...
As far as my reference point about 1/4 vs roll racing... by saying bikes are strong from 40-140.... u proved my reference point. I compared 8th mile trap speeds to 1/4 mile trap speeds. Average good riden 600cc bikes(new ones) trap around 110-112 in the 8th mile and roughly 128-130 in the 1/4 mile. The lighter something is, the much easier it is for it to build its momentum at an earlier speed... hence why a 600 will trap around 110 in the 8th. But then its lack of power and aerodynamics show after that when it ONLY traps 128-130. How many cars do u know of that trap 110+ in the 8th but only 128-130 in the quarter? I dont know of any. This black camaro that u saw in this race traps 98-100 in the 8th but traps 128-130 in the 1/4. So that shows me right there, this camaro is faster from 100-130 then a 600cc bike, nvm from 130-160 which is what the average highway roll runs out to. Im not defending this camaro against liter bikes, because it will get walked by a liter bike with a light good rider, but as far as the rx7 goes, its a whole different story. U dont need 800whp to beat a liter bike to 160mph in a 2800 lb aerodynamic car. And i dont need to get on a liter bike to "feels its power" to know how fast they go. Thats like saying the butt dyno is what counts, fact and statistics mean nothing.

Sorry. 2007... Roll raced my bike against my car and swapped seats. 25-30mph hit (BTW - Any liter bike with stock gearing will pull 1st up to the 100mph area and any liter bike is a struggle to keep down in 1st gear) to approx 150 on the bike and 130ish in the car. Results were the same. I still own both to this day.
-Legit 600rwhp 402/D1SC TA in 2007 (trapped high 120's)
-Legit 2006 GSX-R1000 with only a Yosh slip-on in 2007 (trapped 140)
I'm a 235lb guy and the bike WORKED the car every time... As in... Not even a contest. Just 1st hand facts. Either the guy can't ride or, the bike isn't an R1 (it doesn't look like an R6, but it's hard to tell) or the bike was throwing the race for video shock value... I know I would have loved to say my car was a liter bike eater back then... It just wasn't anywhere near reality.

cant compare highway to the track.. eddy destroyed my white camaro when that car consistently trapped 115 and 1 time 116 in cold weather.. eddys best trap was 113.. so i guess technically i should of won lol.
