Guys idk a 600cc bike is not that fast against us ive raced a few and have seen them with a good rider only go about 126-127 in the 1/4 and that was an 07 gsxr. Im hoping to have some 600s come out to and maybe a zx14 but will have to see this weekend. The guy with the r1 might have been in and out of it idk i wasnt riding the bike so we wont know.

I dont think so, a stock c6z will do from 124-126 in the 1/4 with a good driver/dr's ffrom what ive seen on the vette forum, both of these cars are over that and ik my car is a 130mph car... but like i said will see what happens this weekend were trying to get alot of cars and a few bikes out before the winter hits.

id be willing to bet u would all bring out your 600cc bikes and get smoked by these cars... the rx7 is a 140+mph car that pulls just as hard to 180mph. its going up against a decently modified 06 gsxr1000 this weekend. So we will c how it goes. My money is on the bike getting out on the car 60-110 or so..and the car beginning its passing of the bike. I dont think any bike guys really understand how incredibly UN-aerodynamic bikes are. And another thing... local dynos around here ARE NOT like the fabled internet dynos... if this rx7 made the power it needed to go as fast as it is, according to the internet it needs atleast 650whp.....
Another thing... there is no 600cc bike thats going to beat a 130mph car on the highway (black camaro). A good running 600cc bike with a light/good rider traps 128-130.... but they also trap roughly 110-113 in the 8th. Where as that camaro traps 100 in the 8th... does anyone see how bad bikes are aerodynamic wise? Even if the 600cc bike gets out on the camaro, the camaro is going to come by him like a freight train on the top end. Ive done it in a 120mph car. If anyone argues this with me, then im arguing with bike guys, not car guys.

Until you ride a 1k, and feel the power those bikes have you just need to STFU. This is pointed toward everyone, I just quoted you.

Also your saying that bikes arnt as aerodynamic as cars, which is infact true depending on the car. However, your forgetting that cars (especially sports cars) produce down force. for an expample the stock corvette has less drag coefficient than a z06 because the z produces more downforce. But yes if you are going for 180+ pulls then a car would beat the bike.
