Well, I retuned a buddies car for him for gears and stall. 1998 SS, Ls1 intake still, but has lid, lt's, ory, udp, tune, 3.73's, Yank 3200, 224/228 cam. He wanted me to set it up to shift at 6300 to be on the safe side (stock bottom).
I thought I'd try him to see how it would play out, My car being a 2010 SS L99, tune only.
We went from as close to a dig as possible because of the mexican traffic, prolly 5-130. I dont know if he went on 2.5 honks or if I snoozed, regardless, was a great race.
I am hoping to run 12.5's with just a tune, we'll see soon...
Cell phone vid, sorry for the darkness, he is in left lane obviously and his lights show up pretty good....enjoy!

Yes he does, and it would help it to spin higher but the rod bolts may not like that...lol. IF it was shifted at 6500/6600, it'd have been different, and the ls6 manifold would be great too. I think he's looking into some juice tho, I think I'll leave him alone then!
