Project : F98
Cars underbody was clean, considering it was a Canadian daily driver from Nov. 97-Aug 09. Always rust proofed, and even came with snow tires!
I bought the car the same day, and sold by GTA the next week.
Drove the car for the remainder of summer stock..and I mean STOCK, down to the BRAND NEW stock Gm I pipe and muffler (Felt bad chopping that off lol) and the stock air box.
Since Ive bought it I have done :
-F.A.S.T 78MM intake
-SLP Lid w/K&N
-Free Mods
-OBX-R Headers
-Recently changed my OR-Y to a catted Y with Magnaflow Hi-Flow 99009HM cats
-Magnaflow Catback
-Arun Street Tune
-Hurst Shifter Base w/ eBay shortstick
-Had Chrome Z06's on the car, sold and bought OEM Z06 Gunmetal rims, 17" Front, 18" Rear
-Was lowered on sportlines, now back to stock height (Damn Apartment parking garage!)
-Tint
-"Hurst Equip." Badge
-CETA panel - matte black
-!Sidemoulding
Has 333,0000Km on it now, and in summer is daily driven 1000km a week
It takes it, and likes it!Plans are to keep driving until something lets go (doesnt burn oil and runs STRONG so may be a while, but then Ill grab a 5.3 or 6.0, and build it up for the ol' girl.) Anyways, heres a pic of its life since Aug 2009.

I've found out that rust proofing is GREAT to keep away rust, but when installing long tubes, with a car on jack stands, in -20*C weather, it gets very messy and adds to anger.

Had engine light on after cats. Just cleared engine lamp, must have wiggled primary o2 sensor connector. Unhooked battery for a day and light wouldnt clear..borrowed a scanner and found : P0135 Heater circuit o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 1. Cleared with scanner and its off, let it run for 30 min and no light so :-) ready for emission test come spring!
