That was somewhat comical but more scary. I could not imagine hearing that sound of an incoming projectile and having no idea where to go to avoid being hit. I hope they nailed those Mother F*ckers who were doing the shelling.

From the sounds...it seemed like motars. However, I can't imagine that those things could cover that distance from the moutains that we were apparently relaliating against?

Actually a 81mm motor can cover quite a distance.... and the return fire from the 105's is something you dont want to be on the receiveing end of...

Looks awful familier... I'm pretty sure that was shot right here where I'm at... I know I've seen the video more than once on some local hard drives. Kinda scary when it happens, but it shouldn't be happening too much more.

I knwo that ther hasnt been a post here since March, But I am in Iraq right now, and we get hit everyday....More than once....2 dead, 26 injured on 1 81 mm Mortor fired inside our compound, I have been through 3 170mmrocket attacks landing within 125 ft from where I was standing.....
It sucks, but I am here to support the soldier!1 I have been out of the army for almost two years.....and I feel right at home with these guys.....

Wow, I know that **** is scary... I've been there. But how 'bout radioing someone or try and find where the mortors are coming from... DON'T JUST F***ING SIT THERE AND FILM IT!!!

On a side note, my whole family just got back from seeing my younger brother graduate from Parris Island as a Marine. All I have got to say is I am such a whimp! I have MUCH respect for those that made it through that! or any boot camp for that matter
