Pictures are awesome, thread is not.

There are a lot of butt-hurt brand loyalists in here complaining about **** that doesn't even pertain or affect them.

I for one, am an automobile enthusiast who prefers GM vehicles on a general basis. Show me a badass Ford/Dodge/Exotic/Import/etc. and I'll drool.

Refer to my previous posts^^^

Brand loyal? Where am I? LoL

But really, I feel the same way. I even like mustangs.
I've grown passed the brand loyal phase.
I simply stated I think the C6 Z is amazing in every aspect, and that I'd take it over just about anything. I say this in a GM based forum, and get ripped. Gotta love it.

Don't think he really meant you so much, but in general. Taking instant offense makes ya look a little off...

Well I do not own either but have been very fortunate to have driven both. Driving a Vette, I felt in a fairly advanced version of my f-body. Fast, agile, refined. The Viper was a complete handful, raw, beastly. Although they were powerful they felt very different. Corvettes are way more common, you dont gather much attention, now the Viper?? Even old ladies had to turn around! LOL!

Of COURSE they will... They're already aware enough to think, "Corvette usually means money" and ... "Viper means money!"

Take it easy....I know they get compliments but face it, a Viper is a much rarer car. Corvettes are everywhere, cool or not.

I have seen them alone and together and the Z06 gets my attention every time. It is and will be one of my favorite cars of all time and I hope to own one someday... Can't beat the badassness of the Z06 for the money. Look at the price diff between them and the Z06 still gets the looks just as good IMO.

I know its more rare, but personally I don't take a double take when I see them but I do for a C6Z even before I owned one

No doubt, but more often than not, when I take that 2nd look at the 'vette, it's to make certain which version it is whereas the Viper is self-evident each time.

The C6 Z06 is still my favorite, although for obvious reasons, I like the Viper.

understandable its a great car just after looking at pictures of SRT10 Vipers (around the year of the C6Z) personally it just doesn't do as much for me as a Z can but hey different strokes for different folks

Well since this IS a C6 Z06 posting ground I'll throw up my old one:

I only had stock rims on mine.

^ Dirty car, but fitting intersection. Plus my clever plate.

I got the Viper for EXACTLY what I sold the Z06 for. Food for thought.

But true, the C6 Z06 is the BEST performance car for the money. Especially true used. Until Nissan GTR's can be had for 40k the Z06 will remain king.

No offense, but just how wide must one be to NOT fit into a modern Corvette?
