Unhappy Drove the Trans Am in the Snow Today..

I sold my Jeep last Saturday and I am picking up my next Jeep on Friday. Of course it decided to snow during that short period...

It's coming down SOLID out there now. 3-5" for our area today. Awesome drive home at 7pm I'm sure....

We were supposed to get snow last night, but it never got here. I drove my car in the snow for 4 years so I know how it goes. I have my subaru now though so I should be set.

Thankfully the hood still has the screens.

It was fun. A lot of work keeping the damn thing on the road, though. The rear tires kept kicking out on me, especially on the hills.

I've learned that if you put the car sideways a little in the snow people won't follow you haha. It's definitely not fun driving an fbody in the snow.

I pitty people that have never had the fun experience of driving in the snow. Not with an f-body of course (sorry to see that man!), but just in general.

The baffles have been out of my hood since I bought the car in 2005. I've driven through snow and rain and nothing has happened.

Is that a big snow for you guys down there? Here in kansas it's not considered a real snow until it's a foot on the ground. The snow you have in pics is nothing here lol. Either way having to drive an f-body in any snow or slick road is NO fun. It's weird because my old 93 Z28 would drive fine in the snow and now my 99 Z28 won't even move when the roads are slick? Has something to do with the rearend the 99 has.

Glad you made it home okay. I've had to drive mine in the snow before and some parts it was fun and some parts I thought I was about to loose a Camaro, haha.

Big snow? No lol... 2009 we had a couple blizzards, 2010 we had 3+. 60-80" of snow for the season. Our average is around 25". Estimate this year is 45". Here's examples, in my Jeeps and M3 lol:

Dec 2009 - At our place in Brick Township, NJ:

Feb 6th, 2010 - At my old place in Exton, PA:

February 12th, 2010 (Different storm) - West Chester, PA:

January 26th - Chestnut Hill, PA - Not me but another ZJ guy:

January 27th, 2011 - Chestnut Hill, PA:

October 2011 - My last ZJ (Laredo) in North Jersey vs. a tree:

I had Blizzaks though - 1/29/11:

I feel your pain man, I had to drive my car in the snow a couple times, but at least it had stock wheels and not tt2s. The past few years I had a 4wd but sold it for a newer 2wd. We gernerally only get one good snow a year here but the roads get icy right away so I'm not looking forward to it lol.
