68 camaro twin turbo, super charged and a 200 shot

I've seen the car in person. the stupidest thing is the charge pipes from the turbos come in right behind the butterflies??? so everytime you open the throttle it loses all boost from the turbos. worthless...

looks to me like the inlet to the turbos is going into the "scoop" with the butterflies, and the 2 pipes with what looks like blow off valves comes in under the scoop. im guessing the red scoop is separated from the chrome "carb hat" with a plate maybe? theres no way they put in this much money without thinking of the basics alittle. on top of that, those turbos would over spool so fast and hard if they were just venting to the atmosphere and not building boost there would be catastrophic damage to the turbos

Thank you... Thats what I was about to post. Call the guy stupid, but mix up charge and inlet pipes...then call it worthless haha.
There is no way that guy was able to do all that fab and come up with that design, and make it completely worthless. Im betting that chrome hat has some type of method to handle the different boost and NA air coming in.
So what if he never runs it. That thing is still a Matchbox fans wet dream haha. Still a neat car with some fun innovation going on.
I do agree that not doing a burn out was pretty lame. Gotta be some more video of this thing floating around somewhere Im sure!

Exactly... "No dag gum dyno, but I've got three power adders and no clue where my air fuel is.... he heyuck! it's a Sixty Nine Camarie!"
I've seen so many of these "back half" cars at local shows.. Some with big *** 671 blowers and (seemingly) dual stages of spray, but if I ask if he's ran it he says no he CAN'T run it or the back of the car would fall apart. ........... Wait... I thought you said it was a back half car? Wheelie bars for show??
Most of those 671 blowers don't make **** for boost anyway. Wanted to run a couple classics with em from the local shows.

should have some sort of barrier between the carb hat and scoop. not saying it does just sayin it should. be pretty pointless to spit the air you compressed right back into the same spot you sucked it from. anyone got a build thread or more pics of the setup?
