Car is about 90% done. I have a few interior things to finish, tint the windows, touch up the paint from reassembly and have some tune stuff finished up. Bought the car a few years ago while deployed. It was sitting in the back lot of a dealership. Paid $2800, had a 187,000 miles on it. It's a 97 z28, 6 speed, 383, le2 heads and cam, le ported intake, 58 mm tb, kooks stepped headers, mufflex y and 4" mufflex exhaust, Moser 9", C5z front brakes, koni's, strano springs, torque arm mount, torque arm and all rear suspension is adjustable bmr stuff. I changed to a black interior, added a dd nav and stereo. Had the car completely disassembled for paint. I am talking back glass removed from deck lid so there wouldn't be any tape lines disassembled. Paint and body work with all touch up was $10,000. Wheels are 18x9.5 front and 18x10.5 fm5's. I have a kooks dual setup for it but fitment was pretty terrible. That was going to go into a cme exhaust that was on the car. The only thing not new or aftermarket is the front k member and control arms, side glass, dash, 6 speed casing and wiring harness. Made 437 rwhp and 417 rwtq on Ed Wrights dyno. Fixed a few small issues that arose that day so there should be a couple more horses next time I go. Might switch to a ls1 ecm and install a nitrous outlet plate kit that i had on my 00 ss and never used. I have a metric crap ton of money invested in this 97. Those pics are from the end of the year when I went home to do some more work on it. Once the tune and paint stuff is done I will bring it home, home. Should be a panty dropper when it is 100% done. All work was done by me and my dad except for paint and tune.
