LT-Slow? 
There are quite a few LT1s running quicker times than 12.83@108 
which is a slow as **** time, IMO.
The LS1 is definitely the better motor by far, no arguing that. It's so much more technologically advanced than the LT1. But the LT1 is by no means slow.

My guess is that you didn't really know your *** from your elbow when it comes to the LT1, if you think there's no way to make an LT1 fast.
