That happened to me on an on-ramp doing 70mph after shifting into 3rd gear, then I looked up and my passenger side t-top was airborne.....looked for 2 days and found nothing, not even glass or the trim pannel. I was mad, but later on figured it was not my fault.

Losing t-tops suck..but yeah, after the first one flew off, let out of it.

I would guess he didnt latch them, since they both came off at the same time.

hehe, i was in that situation one time, i had put them on real quick cuz it started to rain and as i got off the on-ramp and all at one time, i floored it, got a call, saw a cop, and realized my PASSENGER t-top wasn't latched. So i answer the phone, slow down and get in the right lane and try to reach over and latch the top before it goes bye bye. needless to say nothing happened. but it is nice to go out for a drive with t-tops off, until you get a 2nd degree burn from the sun...

my friend was racing at atco when his t-top flew off and he didn't even realize where the hell the wind was coming from until after he was done. he found it on asphault with no major scratches in it

alot of times t tops will stop fly off even if they are latched. you need to have them locked to make sure they dont come off.

Happened to me on my old 2000 WS6 TA.

I was out in the garage one night working on the plastic panel up by the t-top. I unlatched the t-top to lift it and look at something. Just then the phone rang in the house. I set the top back down without latching it. I talked to whoever it was on the phone and ended up going to bed. Next morning I leave and as soon as I hit over 70 on the highway away it goes. I watched it land in my rearview mirror and I saw exactly where it landed. I went up to the next exit, turned around and came back. I was back in probably two minutes, and somebody had stopped and stolen the ******* thing. I looked and looked and it was gone. I saw right where it landed like I said, so I know someone must've taken it.

It was around $500 to replace the whole thing if I remember correctly.
