for most of the Air Force i would say thats true, but i work with the ETAC's and those boys can hump i will give it to them, i am a FO in the 82nd and carry alot but the airforce etacs carry more than myself and the 240 gunners... i have yet to see a navy man with a ruck, do they even get issued one or do they get a suitcase.

I was at F.E 3 yrs ago at 90CS, I bet the weather still sucks though! 
About the whole AF complaining about motels, and crap like that, sure, maybe for most of them, but there aren't many AF members in my unit (Joint) that are slackers like that. In fact, after being here, and deploying constantly with Soldiers, Marines, and Sailors, and living the "Army" life, Being introduced to long formation runs, and the frigging jarheads with their 7 mile rucks marches with a 30lb. ruck (hate that crap)) most AF people disgust me with the whining and all. Stoleit, when I went to ALS, most of my class couldn't march, and were just screwing around and cutting up in formation. Even after attention was called. That kinda crap pissed me off though.
