Christianity and Islam are both faiths.......throughout history people have perverted them both for their own ends, but when so called "muslims" and "christians" are bombing street cars, going on bloody "crusades" to conquer other countries and spread democracy, hanging blacks, and killing jews, it's pretty safe to say they aren't acting as Christians or Muslims.
I'm suring telling Asia to **** off would go far in promoting good will towards

We are the infidels we are the ones they are supposed to convert or kill. I know it's pretty radical idea but they are extremists. They hate America, and I'm not to keen on anyone who doesn't like America.
Would they be there for us if the roles were reversed. The answer, HELL NO they would like nothing more. If we send aid will they think better of us? No they will continue hating us, why feed a shark so it can come back and kill you later. Pointless, it's like the Jews helping Hitler. They haev declared war on us are you going to accept it or live in fantasy land?

BTW max, I recommend reading and studying up on the religious riots in France during the mid 17th century. *That* was a war of religions. Or the Crusades.

On a side not it sucks not having a politcal forum huh. I wish we still had it so we could keep these forums clean of this talk.
I know it's not only CNN that feeds people this BS it's every paper and every tv network. I'm not smarter than the VP but you know he can't just come out and say crap like I say it "yeah we are at war with Islam".
So Todd, why SHOULD we help the tsunami victims. We are ridculed the world over for being stingy, when Saudi Arabia is only sending 10million and our government alone is sending 350. Kinda think they would take care of their own. I am torn on this issue, on one hand I think it is a Christians duty to "love them that hate you, be kind to them that curse you and despitefully use you" That verse always stays with me because I struggle with it. On one side I hear that and the other side it says no those bastards want nothing more than to bury you alive and see your God wiped off the face of the earth. I don't know really, kinda boils down to WWJD I guess.
I figure it in the sense of what's best for America, I don't really see how sending money to misguided or otherwise, people that hate us helps us. Clearly this move doesn't have anything positive for America. Not good for PR or otherwise. Aiding the enemy nearly borderline treasonous.
I'm kind of flexible on this issue, not set in stone like usually and kinda want to see both sides of this issue. Basically why send money to these people. I've already put why not.
