thanks 2fast
dearjhon, don't know if a stock R1 could walk me that easy. you might change your mind if you saw the dyno vid. its not that he wasn't moving, you just have to be in the car to understand why.
on a side note, i try and stay away from modded bikes, especially higher displacement ones. you just don't know what you're getting into then.

not trying to make all the excuses possable, but that guy didnt look like the smallest of riders either. and weight makes tons of difference on a bike. with my modded '04 R1, i got walked by a guy on a modded 1000RR, but he weighed about 70lbs less than me
vids like this just dont really show it all. bikes will always take more skill to race. even top end there is more driver (rider) involved with racing a bike then racing a car. like, how many gears do you have the ***** to go down before you get that front end up too high. With a car, if you put it in the wrong gear, most likely you wont get hurt. there are tons of other variables that come into play like rider skill, what MPH you start at. Just like any other matchup, its more clear if you go from a dig.
Did you beat that R1 rider? yeah, damn right you did. Can you run down the majority of R1's that know how to ride? maybe, but probably not that bad. Can you catch an '04 R1?

bottle rocket , i agree with you . but you got to remember, that is not all i have in my bag of tricks . i seriously want to try with an 04 R1 just to see what i can do.
flyinZ, the exhaust is a customsetup, its a 3.5" y into 4 inch all the way back to a dynomax 4 inch straight through ( rally big bullet-- i think it is for a deisel). i told the guy that bult it for me i need to be able to roll a cantelope all the way to the primaries , little did i know , he did it !

i got one rear end pic i could think of, but its nothing special. if
you ask me its border line lowd. i had people say its loud and others said it needs to be louder. usually the blower whine takes the attention away from the exhaust noise.

I really would like to see what you could do to the new R1. im sure there is alot more to that car, but be careful, the new R1 doesnt have to shift until it breaks 100mph.

blur, i never drive without a seatbelt! it's dumb enough that i don't have a roll cage.
i could see how you missed it , the light on the dash and me leaning forward ( damn excitement!) .

I was thinking it had to be a R6 , then I saw your dyno, very impressed....I was behind Mighty Mouse "9 sec. turbo ls1"when he taught a Busa rider a lesson. We need more Videos of that Camaro please. The r1, the Gixer 1000 and Ninja 1000cc are all 9 second 140mph trap bikes stock.

Bullshit? sorry bud but a 04 r1 ridden by an experienced 1/4 mile rider WILL run MID nines. I own a 2003 gsxr 1000 and in stock trim w stock tire and stock gear with nothing more than lowering links and a schnitz front strap went 9.38 @ 150mph. Thats on a 1.50 60ft. With a few more mods like pipe, pc, tuning, and mr9 fuel I have been 9.10's. Prostar 1000ss riders can run 8.80's @ 156+ oh yea, thats with a STOCK motor and STOCK wheelbase. By the way good kill....a z28 with that kind of power vs. an 03 r1 w/ an inexperienced rider is an easy win for the car.
