there should be a dyno vid with some info coming up on the ls1 vs. viper thread pretty soon. (waiting for a friend to host it.)
the numbers on that car are "ok" for a daily driver.

i had the slicks in the back ( put them in large plastic bags to keep everything clean)
the guages in the vens are for fuel pressure and boost ( i have the light for them on a switch so i can turn them off --- for stealthyness reasons ) the whole idea behind all this was to be stealthy .... that went out the window after starting the car.

that looked kinda like an fzr.. the "naked R1" I couldnt tell though... it would help if you raced somebody that knew how to ride also, lol.... I've got a 2000 R1 and I run 10.6's @ 138mph in street trim w/ just a devil slip on.... I dont think an 8 sec. car could pull me as bad as you did him... I'd be pretty happy if I beat a bike but dont get ahead of yourself... unless you have 750-800hp you'd have a hard time even keeping up... figure out the power to weight ratio... cool video none the less... dont mean to bash you...
edit: saw the farings when you first pulled up to him... must not be fzr

That sure does not look like and R1...front end does not look like an R1....it sure as hell looks like the FZ1...or the FZ6.
Not matter what the rider on the bike has for skill....any R1 since the debut would pull the front tire off the ground really bad at the speed you guys started off at......judging from the riders position. He was sitting straight up...did not get over the tank at all.
The bike is not new either...those are headlights from 2003 and older.
edit: I could not make out the ferings.

Judging by watching that bike in the vid...that is NOT an R1.
Ride and R1 and do it with WOT through the gears right around the redline and come back to this thread.
of course maybe that rider was doing None of the above
that front end didn't lift 1mm in that vid.

Look like it could have had the 03 R1 rear brake lights....but the front did not look like the 03.
No offense...car did not seem that fast anyway.....could be the video....things were not moving by that fast, and the car reved rrreeeaaalllyyy slow for having 800+ HP.....just my opinion.

the bike is an R1 no question about it, i'm not sure about the model. it had black fairing and (if this helps any) a maroon R1 sticker above right headlight , and the car reved slow cause it was in 4th when we started, then 5th and then a bit in 6th (thats when you her the clutch slip).
i do remeber the rider complaining about the front end wanting to pull up.

An R1 has a much less upright front assembly... see how the windscreen lays back. The Bike in the vid has a very upright windscreen and the headlights look like a FZ1 to me.
An FZ1 is a damn good kill too. heck even an FZ6 runs mid 11s in the Qtr mile.
