Ok, a new story with the video to go along with it. My best friend just got a 03 Cobra. We went out to dyno this week and it put down 368whp/372wtq. I couldn't believe it when I saw the dyno. Those things rip right out the box. We went to the track friday where he piloted his snake to a 13.3@108mph pass. Not bad at all. With a 2.1 60' as well. He's still learning the car as he's only had it for about 3 weeks. He's ordered his first mod so more video's to come as he upgrades.

Now, I was using my bosses H/C car we built and had a little fun on the way back from the track. The vid says it all. Some of the runs it was really dark but you get the point. Enjoy!

Nice races.

Seems like the Cobra driver needs some practice. I ran a 12.7 in my stock Cobra after only having it for 3 weeks.

Yeah, the race weight on that car as well as my GTO is 4010lbs. If I had the weight of an F-body it would trap a little higher. My best trap is about 114mph in my goat. Thanks for the props on the vid!!

Yeah, made the pass at mohosso motorsports park. Intresting thing is that night we were up there, there were a couple of z06's with CARTEK banners on the back glass and virginia plates. One of the cars went 10.50's and the other made a pass but got 90* sideways as he crossed through the traps. He counter'd sever times to keep the car from spinning or flipping and was successfull. He ended up somewhere off in the grass and almost hit the wall in the return lane. Later we found out that there was some gear oil/tranny oil at the top of the track and he caught it on a shift sending him into an instant spin. They ended up shutting down the left side of the track and re-checking the right side. I was pretty scared to make another pass as I was the first solo pass after that little incedent.

Im not a big fan of the 03 cobra but have say that when he learns how to drive it you are going to be in trouble. I had my car 4 days and went 12.6 @113 bone stock right down to the paper filter.
I really like the new GTO but they are no match for a well driven Cobra.
