Help With Music

need some help finding music. wanting something that sounds "apoccoliptic" or something. you know the music you hear in movies like when the world is going to come to an end or when a big fight scene is breaking out. sort of sounds classical or something like that. its hard to explain and even harder to find. i have heard the kind of music i am looking for on videos in here be cant seem to find them. if you have any info it would be greatly appreciated

'The Crystal Method' has many songs in movies/commercials. They are NOT classical, but have a Matrix style sound like for during fight scenes

Hrm, let me go through some of my CD's at home, I know I have more apocolyptic sounding stuff, just can't think of the composers off hand.

I agree with Pendragon about Carmina Burana.

Oh yeah and do a search for "lord of the rings trailer" and "lux aeterna". This song was adapted from requiem for a dream for the two towers trailer and it's pretty bad ***. I don't think you can buy it on a cd or anything though.

A great come down or ending piece is Adagio for strings,it was in the movie Platoon.It was a very powerful piece used in the movie and in the credits.
