I call complete BS on the SS being stock, unless the Vette wasnt getting in it when they took off.

No way a stock SS can jump on a stock C5, especially not that bad!

I think the Vette was just honking and gettign some footage of the SS getting on it, because no way in hell a stock SS would do that, and you can't even hear the Vette get on it

The Vette was ***** out . The SS was 100% stock save for a K&N filter. This is why I kinda dont like street fire, they just paste over the first part of the video with their intro and then black, you missed the details that MY vette is A4 and MY SS is M6. You missed the StoleIt vs StoleIt intro as well.

not good lighting but you get the idea:

What gears does the C5 have? 3.15's or 2.73's? If it's 2.73's then it explain's everything.

hmm...not sure. What does a stock A4 normally come with? I'd imagine 3.15's, 2.73's are really long for that car. You also have to relize my SS is factory freak. 330rwhp/345rwtq.

Ya right.I don't believe it.Stock SS's don't outrun stock C5's.I own one of each and granted my Z is different that a regular C5 I still don't believe it.

The C5 couldn't have been on the gas to get left like that.Total BS

I don't see why he would lie about one of his cars being faster than another one of his own cars. m6 with good driving and 330rwhp and 345 rwtq vs. a4 possibly with 2.73s is believable. Especially if you started from a low second gear in the vette in which case it bogs like it's pulling a trailor until about 4500 rpm

The SS pulls away from the C5 in that video like a 11 second car pulling away from a stocker.A stock SS instantly pulls 3-4 cars on a C5,okie dokie.

Yeah when my 2002 SS had a cam, headers and full exhaust I raced my friends A4 97 C5 that only would trap 102-103 mph and I didnt walk him that bad. My car was putting down 375 rwhp with a samll cam. Granted I pulled him pretty bad but not 3-4 cars within 2 seconds.

This isn't rigged, it just probably didn't down shift, thats why I left it like a civic, it happens. At certain speeds A4's are dogs because they don't downshift, ask any A4 driver what speeds he/she WONT do a roll from, thats probably the speed we were going.

And my SS has never lost to a vette yet. I've raced 3 or 4 targa, vert, and frc's (no z06's) and I haven't lost yet. I've got another video on my computer where some other guy is out in his dad's vette and hes ***** out and I CATCH up to him then proceed to granny shift and still pull ahead.

******* typical "THE CORVETTE CAN NEVER BE BEAT BY A LESSER CAMARO! NEVAR!" You guys are forgeting, this is street racing where anything and everything happens. c5's arent god compaired to f-bods

All I'm going to say is lighter car, more horsepower should win.Comparing the slowest C5 to a 6 sp 02 SS isn't a good comparison.

My Z06 dynoed 7 more rwhp than the SS in that video.I would tear that *** up easily in a race, street or track.I've never driven a auto C5 so that's the only thing I can compare it to from personal experience.

I own one of each so there is no C5 bias here.My SS would've gotten stomped by my Z stock to stock.

i really doubt the c5 has more hp and than the ss. also this is a c5 vert, not a z06. and as a vert its a little more weighty than other c5's (frc, targa, or z06).

your z06 only dynoed 337 rwhp? isn't that incredibly low for a z? i thought most are in the 350's...where do you live? anywhere near chicago? Id like to try out a z and see how much i lose by.
