Honestly, I'd love to see him run that Evo. I do think it would be a pretty good match and I'd love to see Predator race something real.

 

That is a bunch of guys in my town! The Silver Z that got skinned was a good friend of mine as are the two cobras! I haven't met the guy with the evo yet, but they say he is a very nice guy. Put down 601 at 30 psi and is running 35 psi right now. He has a bottle on it too just hasn't needed it yet. Got a race this weekend with a 750 rwhp Notch Mustang that should be interesting! Buncha folks gonna be pissed if the fastest thing in town is a Evo!

 

i say we send Kenny tran with his 900 hp supra down there are Alamo Autosports 1200 hp supra down there that should be able to tke out that evo if not maybe my nova when its done with its 200 shot

 

I wonder what it would dyno as rwhp? The awhp has to suck a ton out of it. Just remember if the drivetrain is as good as the rest of the car it would be nasty from a dig also. Cool car for sure.

ok...not calling BS here at all. However, something I did take notice too.

In the SS vs EVO vid, the SS claim to be rather stock w/ 100shot. He pulled the EVO as much as 1/2 to 1 car before the EVO began reeling back in and passing.

The Cobras were running S/Cs and NOS and weren't pulling a bit from the hit. So are we able to conclude that the SS was making over 600whp? Or the Cobras are making less than 601hp?

 

Well, that Evo didn't pull the cobras AS hard as he pulled on the SS. He pulled them pretty good, but didn't rape them like the race with the SS. Who knows though, maybe the SS does have more mods than stated or the Cobras have Less power than they said. That Evo pulled that KB a lot harder than the other cobra with the ported blower though

 

I believe the first Cobra is Broke's.

 

Either way, hats off to the EVO.

 

The first Cobra is Broke and I can assure you that all 600 are there and accounted for. The KB cobra is fresh off the dyno at 601. The SS is a car that I put together and is running a big cam with stock heads and a 100 NX kit. Car makes 400 rwhp NA, so 475-500 on the hose. The reason the SS jumps each time is the intitial nitrous hit with all the damn torque. just didn't have the *** to keep pulling. The evo takes a moment to spool up with a turbo as big as the motor! The Evo is riding on race gas right now. He won't be near as brutal on pump gas. Both Cobras and the SS was on 93 pump gas!

That is one crazy EVO! But... I'd still rather make the same power with half the boost, ala Cobra.

That was a very sweet EVO that is damn fast that'll I'll give a ton of credit to! On the other hand, I'd rather have a strong V8 to start with and then put the same amount of money into it and it'll more than likely be faster.

 

thats just sick, i just went with same setup in my 1g, except im running a slightly larger turbo @28psi and a 100 shot...id like to find out his times...maybe i can come close to maching since im a lot lighter...ill find out what i run soon enough...
