Holy ****!! That's the first time I've ever seen his car run. He's my buddies idol and my buddy would always be talking about that dude. Badass car though.

I have always wanted a DSM

 

yep, that's the mitsu 5-speed tranny. shepard is the tranny expert in the DSM world and has the fastest stock chassis streetable DSM in the world. this is done on the stock block and head (reworked ofcourse).

I was noticing that too, makes the dsm a helluva lot nicer that way

 

sheperd has the fastest awd dsm period hehe. has a brand new set-up for this year..and is looking to go low 8's i believe. i had a vid of him running the new set-up not tuned properly and he ran 8.95.

 

Yes that is John Shepherd. he has been competing in the street class IDRC/SCIN, and every other big event there is. The only car to beat him is the supra from earlier this year, this is why he went with a new setup. I had John build the tranny in my dsm, and he know's his $hit! It is a stock 122ci 2.0...forged internals of course, a T-4 turbo through Forced Performance, he runs est 30-35psi, a 250 shot, maybe larger now, and a BJ's race head.
