Yeah, big improvement in speed over stock, but dumb IMHO. You can only polish a turd so much, it will never turn to gold.
Maybe he ran out of gear at the end? A possible reason for a drop in acceleration.

I agree its a waste of money to mod a FWD econo-car, but thats not a ricer, it has no usless and tasteless body modifications, and is a clean, stock looking car.
Id love to see the mod list though, he'd basically have to redesign the whole car...

that "ricer" talk is ignorant. Whenever one is competitive, that's the only comeback some people can come up with. Believe me, when some guys get their asses kicked by mustangs, they call them ricers too. A fast car is a fast car. Stop all this jealousy because one's car mods costs more... that's so damn ignorant. I used to get into all that, but now i have much respect for the import comm. their cars look more uniqur rather than letting it stay plain because it's "american muscle". Really embarassing imho

There's no need to hate on this guy. Would we do what he did?....nope. However what he has done is respectable. Did you see a big 8 ft wing on the back of it? Flames and other crap? Flashing tire valve caps and window washers? No. So how is it rice?

Scion tC's are not economy cars. they are sport compacts there is a major difference. a perfect example would be a neon and an Srt 4 one has 4 disc abs, handles really well, enough power to go 155mph etc, and a price tag to match.There is nothing econmical about a 21k car. the differnce is as big as your car compared to your v6 camaro/firebird counterpart

Its a FWD economy 4 cylinder built without performance in mind.
Im not saying it cant be fast (because, as the video shows, they can be) but they are built in mind not to be, like a minivan, they can be fast, but arnt built to be.

And one of the major differences is the V6 Camaro was based of the Z28 (they make the Z28 first, then 'detune' it to the V6 model) where as the Neon came first, and Dodge just beefed it up from there.

Now your getting out of control with the Ferrari, Porsche and Lambo comparisons. We were talking about what people want, not what they can afford dude. He obviously has spent some money to mod it considerably. Money that could have given him much more bang for the buck if he chose to spend it on another vehicle. Now he has done all that and can go as fast as a stock F-Body. All I'm saying is it doesn't make sense to me. His car is probably at its limit.

What stock fbody has ever ran 12.1?
That car would put about 8 cars on a stock fbody and thats probably all he was trying to accomplish. not everyone wants to run 9's or to have all the headaches asscociated with a car that fast. just say congrats and move on.

This site is called LS1 tech for a reason, why? Its for LS1 powered vehicles only.. What does this mean? We don't give a damn if a non-powered LS1 vehicle runs 12's. More power to him and congrats, but wrong cite for someone to give a damn.
