he didnt launch hard...TRMN8R doesnt wanna risk blowing the stock 10bolt so i bet that was a 2-3k launch....

I don't think its as bad as you're making it.

I've got about

20 passes on 26x10.5 ET streets
11 passes on 26x11 ET streets
15-20 passes on 245/r16 nittos

a couple of 5500 launches, getting a feel for each tire, 95% at 6000+ and about 75% at 6600rpm on the stock 10bolt and stock clutch, dumping it of course.

Get your car out to the track, its not gonna kill ya

This isn't sea level.

This is why I sold my Foxbody. I had cam/heads sitting in my office for a few months and after putting all the numbers together I thought..."I just need an LS1"
Sold the parts and car and came out ahead.

Now with cam/headers waiting to be installed there are few cars I'll have to worry about. I love it.
